• Educational Content: Flashcards, decks, notes, and deck packs that you create for learning purposes.
• Study Progress Data: Study sessions, learning progress, streak information, and study statistics to track your learning journey.
• Contribution Data: Daily study activity for heatmap visualization and progress tracking.
• Achievement Data: Badges, achievements, and milestone information earned through study activities.
• Pet Data: Virtual pet information, including progress and interactions (if you use this feature).
• Local Storage Data: All your data is primarily stored locally on your device for offline use.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Allow you to securely log in and access your account.
• Maintain authentication and account security.
• Provide and personalize your learning experience.
• Track your study progress and maintain streaks.
• Generate achievement badges and celebrate milestones.
• Display contribution heatmaps and study statistics.
• Enable offline functionality with local data storage.
• Provide optional cloud backup and sync functionality.

We do not use your information for advertising or tracking. Your learning data is only used to enhance your educational experience.

3. Sharing of Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We only share information with:

Your educational content, study progress, and personal data are never shared with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.

4. Data Storage and Backup

Local Storage: By default, all your data (flashcards, notes, progress, achievements) is stored locally on your device for offline access and privacy.

Optional Cloud Backup: You can optionally choose to backup your data to Firebase Firestore. This is entirely voluntary and requires your explicit consent. Cloud backup includes:

• Your flashcards, decks, and notes
• Study progress and streak information
• Achievement and badge data
• Contribution and statistics data

You can disable cloud backup at any time and continue using the app with local storage only.

5. Data Retention

Your account information is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time, which will remove your information from our systems. Locally stored data will remain on your device until you uninstall the app.

6. Security

We rely on Firebase Authentication's secure infrastructure to protect your login credentials and Firebase Firestore's security for cloud backup data. All data transmission uses encryption. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no system is 100% secure.

7. Children's Privacy

Our app can be used by people of all ages, including children, for educational purposes. We do not knowingly collect more personal information than necessary to use the app (e.g., only an email address for login via Firebase).

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us. We will promptly delete such information if requested.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.

9. Your Rights
